HERMIONE MARKIDES

Hermione graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with first class honours.

She practiced law in Cyprus for more than 50 years.

She has been the Secretary General of the Cyprus Bar Council for 6 years, President of the Society for Scientific and Cultural Studies and President of the Council of Legal Education, preparing the Pupil Advocates for the Cyprus Bar, in association with Leicester University, for 15 years.

She was a lecturer on Cyprus Law and has published legal articles on IP Law and Company Law. 

She specializes in IP Law matters and headed the IP department of the Firm for more than 30 years, growing the Firm's practice into becoming one of the leaders in Cyprus.

Hermione was a Member of the Internet Committee of ECTA, the Unfair Competition Committee of MARQUES and of the Board and Council of EPI.

Hermione is an active member of the Firm, currently acting as an internal consultant.
