STEPHANIE PAPAIOANNOU

Stephanie Papaioannou has a degree from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a postgraduate degree in International Economic Law and Private International Law from the same University. She is a PhD Candidate of the University of Cyprus since September 2018 and her doctoral research focuses on Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and Comparative Law.

In 2011 she was admitted to Thessaloniki’s Bar Association as an advocate before the Greek Courts of First Instance, having passed the Bar’s examination with “Excellence”. She then practiced law in Greece until 2013.

In 2014 she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar as a qualified lawyer, having passed the Bar examination with “Excellence”. 

 

Stephanie was a litigation lawyer in another Law Firm until 2020, dealing mainly with civil law, administrative law, labor law and commercial matters. She also headed the litigation department for 3 years.

In 2021 she joined Markides, Markides & Co LLC as a Litigation Lawyer.

Stephanie handles cases both before First Instance and Appeal Courts of mainly civil and administrative nature.

She speaks fluently Greek and English and basic Italian.
